Heremoov Privacy Policy

Heremoov ("we", "our", or "the app") is a screenplay writing tool for iOS. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and what choices you have when you use Heremoov.

1. Overview

Heremoov is designed for local creative work. Your scripts, characters, and writing content are stored on your device. We do not require you to create an account to use the core features of the app.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Content You Create (Stored Locally)

Screenplay titles, acts, scenes, and body text
Character names, profiles, and scene associations
Style reference films you attach to a script
App preferences stored on your device

This data remains on your device unless you delete it or remove the app. We do not operate a cloud backup service for your writing within Heremoov.

2.2 Film & Actor Reference Data (TMDb)

When you use Discover or search films and actors, the app requests metadata from The Movie Database (TMDb), such as titles, posters, genres, keywords, and cast listings. These requests may include standard network information (e.g., IP address) processed by TMDb under their own privacy practices.

TMDb Attribution: Heremoov uses the TMDb API to retrieve film and cast information for inspiration and reference. This product is not endorsed, certified, or sponsored by TMDb. Posters and metadata belong to their respective owners.

2.3 Advertising Data (Unity LevelPlay)

Heremoov may display advertisements through Unity LevelPlay (powered by ironSource / Unity Ads mediation). To deliver and measure ads, LevelPlay and its advertising partners may collect:

Device identifiers (such as IDFA on iOS, if you grant permission)
Device type, OS version, language, and general location (country/region level)
Ad impressions, clicks, and interaction data
IP address and network information

3. IDFA & App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

On iOS, Heremoov may request permission to access the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.

If you allow tracking: IDFA may be used by LevelPlay and ad partners to deliver more relevant ads and measure campaign performance.
If you deny tracking: Heremoov and LevelPlay will not access your IDFA. Ads may still appear, but they may be less personalized.
You can change this choice anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your iPhone or iPad.

We do not use IDFA to identify you personally, sell your scripts, or read your screenplay content.

4. How We Use Information

Provide screenplay editing, structure, and preview features
Load film inspiration content from TMDb
Display and measure in-app advertising through LevelPlay
Improve stability and fix technical issues

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your screenplay text or character content. Information may be shared only with:

TMDb — when you browse or search films and actors
Unity LevelPlay / ad partners — for ad delivery, fraud prevention, and analytics as described above
Legal requirements — if required by applicable law or valid legal process

6. Data Retention

Your writing is kept on your device until you delete it or uninstall Heremoov. Advertising partners may retain data according to their own retention policies.

7. Children's Privacy

Heremoov is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, please contact us.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the app. Because your scripts are stored locally, you are also responsible for securing your device (passcode, backups, etc.).

9. Your Rights & Choices

Delete scripts and characters within the app at any time
Manage ad tracking via iOS Tracking settings
Contact us to ask questions about this policy

10. International Users

Heremoov may be used in different regions. By using the app, you understand that data processing described here may occur on servers operated by TMDb, Unity LevelPlay, or their partners, which may be located outside your country.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of Heremoov after changes means you accept the updated policy.
